Farmers of the Ysmayyl Farm from Nookat district of Osh region delivered about 1,000 tons of raspberries and strawberries to the markets of 25 cities of Russia and Kazakhstan in nine months, the investment Agency reports.
At the same time, in 2019, the annual production of raspberries was 300 tons, strawberries — 500 tons.
Agency employees visited the farm within the framework of agreements on the withdrawal of berry crops to retail chains of the Russian Federation. The representative of the company introduced them to the full cycle of the business process, from the production of boxes for harvesting to packaging and shipping.
According to him, Ysmayil farm provides farmers with technology, seedlings and fertilizers, continues to work on increasing production capacity, providing jobs for up to 60 people in its own shop, and attracting more than 97 families to work on growing strawberries. The work season runs from March to November. The goal for 2021 is to export packaged products.
Following the visit, the investment Agency decided to assist in the preparation of the final product and further access to retail chains in Russia and Kazakhstan.
The farm “Ismayil» established in 2003, it grows organic fresh raspberries and strawberries in large quantities. Since 2006, the farm supplies berries to the wholesale markets of the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan.
