AlmatyEnergoSbyt LLP informs that from September 1 of this year it will increase the maximum tariff for electricity by an average of 7.9% compared to the current one, zakon.kz reports.
It is emphasized that the electricity tariff for individuals or consumers using electricity for household needs remains unchanged.
The change in the tariff is due to an increase from July 1, 2020 in the maximum tariffs of energy producing organizations, according to the order of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 243 dated June 29, 2020.
For consumers of the city of Almaty and the region of the Almaty region, from September 1, 2020, the following tariffs will apply, agreed by the Departments of the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Almaty and the Almaty region:
1) I – group: household consumers using electric energy for their own household needs – 17.12 tenge per 1 kW * h without VAT (19.17 tenge per 1 kW * h with VAT);
2) II – group: consumers using electric energy not for household needs – 18.47 tenge per 1 kW * h without VAT (20.69 tenge per 1 kW * h with VAT);
3) III – group: legal entities financed from the state budget – 25.93 tenge per 1 kW * h without VAT (29.04 tenge per 1 kW * h with VAT).
Please note that the tariff for consumers of individuals who use electricity for household needs, but do not use the differentiation of the tariff depending on the volume of consumption for each permanent resident in the apartment / house, remains unchanged and is 17.12 tenge per 1 kW * h without VAT (19.17 tenge per 1 kW * h with VAT), – says the press service of AlmatyEnergoSbyt LLP.
The rates of the tariff differentiated depending on the volume of consumption * of electric energy by individuals of the city of Almaty and the Almaty region of the region, using and not using electric stoves, also remain unchanged, namely:
1) differentiated tariff of the first level – 15.88 tenge per 1 kW * h without VAT (17.79 tenge per 1 kW * h with VAT);
2) a differentiated tariff of the second level – 20.54 tenge per 1 kW * h without VAT (23.00 tenge per 1 kW * h with VAT);
3) a differentiated tariff of the third level – 25.68 tenge per 1 kW * h without VAT (28.76 tenge per 1 kW * h with VAT).
