The discussion was attended by Deputy mayor of the city A. Sattibayev, head of the Department of agriculture and veterinary medicine A. Kanybekov, Director of “Zhasyl Zher” LLP B. Baisakalov, Director of “LTD Turmys” LLP G. Sadybekov and head of the cooperative “ASAR AGRO” S. Tastanov, the Press service of the Shymkent akimat reports.
According to the analysis, 1.6 million flowers are currently needed to improve the city as a whole. Representatives of the cooperative “ASAR AGRO”, “Zhasyl-Zher” LLP and “LTD Turmys” LLP signed a Memorandum of cooperation to Finance the project for growing annual and perennial flower seedlings — “Forward” purchase.
As part of the project, 100 families will be employed in the Asar microdistrict, which is an agricultural town of the city. Today, the Asar microdistrict specializes in the production of greenhouses. Now there is an opportunity to develop a new industry, flower growing in greenhouses.
In General, floriculture is a profitable and useful industry. Shymkent has all the opportunities to develop a new industry and increase the export of flowers.
